Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities: Provide actuarial support across Life and Non-Life departments through pricing models, portfolio analysis and reserving reports - Support predictive modelling across internal data - Assist in the Financial Planning and Analysis exercise - Manage reporting deadlines and deliverables with external stakeholders across appointed actuaries, auditors and regulators - Learn through participating in IFRS 17 engagements and other projects - Lead, contribute to and oversee actuarial projects and deliverables - Design, propose and implement solutions, understanding the impact to the business.
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Sciences (Master's degree is a plus) - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience - Proven experience with BI and data visualization tools - Knowledge of Python and R is a plus - Expertise in MS Excel - Strong communication skills to explain actuarial concepts to non-specialists - The ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility to meet business needs.

Senior Claims Officer

Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely and accurate settlement of both Marine & Non-Marine claims - Conduct thorough claims analysis, including reviewing documentation, assessing damages, and determining liability - Investigate and evaluate complex claims, escalating issues when necessary to ensure fair outcomes - Ensure the delivery of high-quality service to ceding companies and reinsurers by maintaining clear communication, timely updates, and addressing any concerns to maintain strong relationships - Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., ceding companies, adjusters, reinsurers) to facilitate smooth claims processing - Contribute to the development of claims management processes and continuous improvement initiatives within the department - Lead and manage a team of claims professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance, professional development, and a collaborative team environment.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field - Professional certifications in insurance are preferred - Minimum of 10 years of experience in reinsurance claims management - Proven expertise in investigating and evaluating complex claims - In-depth knowledge of Marine and Non-Marine insurance policies and regulatory requirements - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and offer practical solutions - Experience in mentoring and leading a team of junior claims staff.
