Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive risk strategies and a structured framework for effective risk management across the company - Implement initiatives to build a strong risk-awareness culture that promotes proactive risk identification and mitigation of risks - Establish and manage robust systems and procedures for identifying, collecting, analyzing risk data, and devising effective response plans - Ensure compliance with the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) risk management regulations, including capital adequacy, liquidity, and solvency requirements, aligning with the UAE's insurance regulatory framework - Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process to accurately assess the company's risk profile and solvency requirements - Lead stress testing and scenario analysis exercises, ensuring compliance with CBUAE regulations, to gauge the company's resilience under various adverse conditions - Implement and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and early warning systems to detect emerging risks and ensure alignment with CBUAE requirements for proactive risk management - Ensure timely and accurate reporting of risk exposures to CBUAE and the Board of Directors, maintaining compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and ensuring transparency in risk management activities.

Underwriting Manager - Motor Insurance

Requirements: Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field - Proven track record in Motor Insurance Underwriting and/or Sales (minimum 7 years, including 1 to 2 years in a supervisory / managerial role) - Experience with underwriting automation tools and data analysis is a strong plus - Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to foster positive relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders - Leadership experience with a proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing underwriting team.
